Interested Musicians Please Read
Main Street Coffee House would like to maintain a "Coffee House" atmosphere even during live music events. We are looking to book smaller bands or solo artist since that is what our facility accommodates best. We don't allow the collection of cover charges or admission fees so that all customers can enjoy the atmosphere regardless of the purpose of their visit. While we would like to encourage an acoustic feel to shows, we realize amplification is almost always required. Main Street Coffee House doesn't as of yet have an in-house PA so those interested will have to use their own equipment. Typically shows have been in the evening and towards the weekend, but we are open to different days and times.
Since we've opened in the fall of 2010 we have had an overwhelming interest in live music from fans and musicians and are working on making MSCH a convenient and desired place to play and be seen. Suggestions and feedback from you the musician will help us to improve from booking, to the day of the show and we look forward to hearing from you.
Musician Perks
To show our appreciation to musicians we will be offering free drinks and dessert to those performing. We also hope to ensure customers are aware of tips by placing a tip jar for musicians next to the register.
Musician/Performing Arts Agreement
We ask that all that those performing, or a representative, review and sign a Musician/Performing Arts Agreement before an event. We look forward to hosting and being involved in the many talents of South Bend and surrounding areas.
We're always looking for great people to join our staff! Please review the application below, or click here for a printable link. We request that you submit your application in person at any location.
